Staring Statues Install
Start 10-27-09 - Finished 10-31-09
Much to my wife's dismay, the Haunted Mansion is
creeping into other rooms in the house. This is the only BIG project
that will find it's way out of the room. It just seemed a natural location
since this is the hallway that leads to The Haunted Mansion Room. I finished
just in time for Halloween!
Latest project - Staring Statues install. Hallway wall prior to start..................................Cutting
drywall openings.
Installing lights and switch..................................................Wife
decides she wants them to have a curved top. One days work becomes 5 days
work!
Frame buildup and trim......................................................Finished!

What would a Haunted Mansion Room be without a pop-up ghost?
Found the head on E-Bay including the air piston. Purchased some air control
parts, a refillable air tank and remote controlled electrical outlet and
here he is! My grandson was not afraid of anything in the Haunted Mansion
Room until this guy showed up. Now he won't go in the room!

The guest bathroom has received The Nightmare Before Christmas
overlay. It looks like this year round minus the wreath on the door and
the poinsettia flowers scattered around.
